Data we collect

Data you provide through the contact form: full name, email address, studio or company, request type, service of interest, deadline, indicative number of drawings, file formats, message and optional attachment.

Data collected automatically for the technical operation of the site: IP address, browser type and country of the request, used only to serve pages and suggest the correct language.

Client area credentials, where activated: email and authentication data.

Purposes and legal basis

Replying to quote, portfolio, call or information requests: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Managing the contractual relationship and tax or accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Security and correct operation of the website: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Retention

Contact request data is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and, where a commercial relationship follows, for the periods required by tax law. Technical attachments are kept for the duration of the assessment and deleted on request.

Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed by technical service providers acting as processors: website hosting and infrastructure, database and message storage, email service and call scheduling tool.

We never sell or share data with third parties for marketing purposes. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to info@layering.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Confidentiality of project material

Technical material we receive (drawings, models, briefs) is treated as confidential information, never published without written consent and covered by an NDA on request.
